A MedLite® C Series EO Q-switched Nd:YAG laser is a valuable addition to any aesthetic medical practice. With a powerful, compact and reliable medical laser, physicians can offer patients a greater range of treatments, regardless of skin type. The MedLite® can help attract new patients — while expanding services available to existing patients. Both the C3 and C6 MedLite® lasers offer 1064 nm and 532 nm wavelengths. With the use of MultiLite Dye Laser Handpieces, compatible with the MedLite® C6, the Polymer Dye HP can convert the 532 nm wavelength to both 585 nm and 650 nm, for a total of four possible wavelengths across a variety of procedures.

The MedLite® C Series EO Q-switched laser utilizes the latest in multi-wavelength, articulated-arm-delivered laser technology. Representing the next generation of Q-switched technology, the MedLite® uses an electro-optic (EO) high-speed shutter to produce nanosecond pulse widths. Peak energy is dispersed throughout the epidermis faster than the relaxation time of the healthy tissue. The HOYA ConBio™ MultiLite Dye Laser Handpieces are designed for the MedLite® C6 and RevLite™ lasers. These dye-impregnated polymer rods convert the 532 nm wavelength to either 585 nm or 650 nm, providing a total of four wavelengths and significantly expanding treatment options for patients.

Launched in April, 2008, the V-Raser™ is a new, compact, diode laser designed to treat vascular lesions, including facial telangiectasias.  The 980 nm wavelength delivers safe, effective treatment of common high-flow blood vessels, including red and blue vessels especially on the face.
The variable spot sizes allow physicians to treat small, hard-to-reach vessels, such as crevices and the sides of the nose.

V-Raser™ provides resolution of vascular lesions in one to three treatments, depending on vessel size.

The targeted design of the V-Raser™ is an ideal complement to other laser and light-based therapies, including MedLite and RevLite lasers, for a comprehensive approach to photodamaged skin.  V-Raser™ treats the visible facial spider veins while MedLite or RevLite can target brown pigment, tighten pores and tone the skin.
